Entry — Age 13, after a mission

We completed the objective. All of us, together, and for about twenty minutes afterwards everything felt like it was supposed to.

The father debriefed us in order. When he got to me he said I had shown 'evidence of developing capacity.' I wrote that down immediately after, in the margin of a training document, before I could lose the exact phrasing. Evidence. Developing. Capacity.

It's not much. I know it's not much. I'm treating it like it's much.
